Bill Gates Became A Billionaire, And So Can You!
As Long As You Are Leveraged.
Bill Gates was a self professed NERD, at a time when the world thought it needed computers. We hadn’t yet realised that what we needed to know for our survival was staring us in the face, we just had to study it … study nature.
Nerds created the computer revolution. It could never have been created by sportsmen and women, by poets, social workers, soldiers, fishermen, gardeners, adventurers, educators or anyone else … but nerds (with a little help from advertisers, marketing people and financial advisers).
Dr Wayne Dyer has a saying … “You will see it when you believe it”, which is also the title of one of his books. Enough people believed computers were an essential part of our future, so essential that they started to picture one in their office and then in their home. And pretty soon they were there.
I’m almost finished reading Bill Gate’s book “The Road Ahead” , and to be honest technology seems to have evolved MUCH faster than Mr Gates imagined, and those ‘Google’ and YouTube’ boys, ‘Ebayers’, ‘Facebookers’ and the lIke all just popped up, like in an instant, and the world changed.
What did Bill Gates do that helped him become one of the top three, if not the wealthiest person in the world?
He developed massive “LEVERAGE”.
That massive leverage primarily came about through IBM’s need for a new operating system and the fact that Bill Gates and his co-founders at Microsoft were very good at developing software.
They were not the only ones developing software, however some intelligent marketing (they offered their software to IBM at almost no cost, but with a small license fee) and the fact that all PC computers needed to have a copy of the operating system meant the Microsoft business exploded.
Look at any successful entrepreneur or wealthy person and you will find massive leverage … sometimes it involves the additional use of money as a form of leverage however, money is not necessary to create real wealth if you are leveraged and your product or service is of value, or has a perceived value.
Sir Richard Branson made his initial wealth through Virgin Records … you record the record once and sell it a million times.
He diversified into finance and transport and his initial Virgin Airline was humorously talked about as having standing room only, just like on the train or bus. Sir Richard expanded into rail transport in Europe where massive numbers of commuters use the system and he earns a small amount on each journey.
That’s massive leverage.
I recall hearing author and businessman Robert Kiyosaki say “If you are not leveraged you will work harder and harder for less and less.”
How true he is. Robert created massive leverage through his books, games and website RichDad.com.
My sponsor in the nutrition company I am an independent distributor earns over $1million a year because he is ‘highly leveraged’ with distributors in over 30 countries. He is no smarter, not necessarily better than those distributors he sponsored, but he does have more leverage than most of them, and as a result earns more and doesn’t need to work any harder.
He works because he enjoys what he does, and to be honest he hasn’t yet developed an abundance mindset or context to his business. He does still believe there is a limited pool of resources available.
How can you become LEVERAGED and be on your way to becoming a ‘billionaire’ … without disadvantaging anyone else?
Find a way to become leveraged that is ethical and actually gives back more than it takes. The reason I say “gives back more than it takes” is because over the past one hundred years we have taken more, a lot more, than nature can give back, and through our ignorance we have put our very survival at risk.
R Buckminster Fuller continued to say for over fifty years, “We are local information gatherers and problem solvers.” That is our job; to open our eyes and to learn, to discover local problems and then to put our creativity and know-how to work to design beautiful solutions that benefit everyone.
He knew that we had the know-how and the resources to provide for everyone, for everyone of our 6 billion population at a very high standard of living, and we have had that capacity now for over thirty five years, and yet we are continuing to apply greed and selfishness to cater for a very small percentage of wealthy people.
Keeping people separate and keeping them busy means they have no leverage, and they have little power. Once they start to network with like minded people, and start to work together they often become ‘unstoppable’.
Buckminster Fuller believed that “The new human networks’ emergence represents the natural evolutionary expansion into the just completed, thirty-years-in-its-building, world-embracing, physical communications network. The new orienting of human networking constitutes the heart-and-mind-pumped flow of life and intellect into the world arteries.”
By interconnecting and networking all of humanity, connecting the human spirit throughout the entire six billion population we can transform our planet within as little as ten years, and we must start soon … or it may well be too late.

Have a look at your local community, city or town. Is it a healthy vibrant community that is giving back more than it takes or is it a group of individuals working hard to survive?
In our 5000 population community we looked at how many massage therapists it could support, if all 2000 adults say had one massage a fortnight to enhance their health and help prevent illness. With each therapist doing 25 massages per week it would be forty people employed doing massage.
At present there are two part time therapists, and many people have never had a massage … wow, what an amazing future.
Similarly, how many chiropractors, organic gardeners, solar panel installers etc could we employ? I believe the future looks wonderful and prosperous and it can happen very quickly.
Letting everyone know what you do by becoming an advertising member on Your Healthy Planet.com will be another step toward this exciting future we are all about to create.
Finally, another wonderful example of leverage is the documentary film called “Home Project” by Yann Arthus-Bertrand which documents the state of our environment and the possibilty of us all working together to reverse the current trend. Already over 2 million people have seen the movie and rated it 5 / 5 since it’s release on 5th June 2009.
