Should We Forgive Mike Dillard?

So the question each one of us, including Mike Dillard (and yes I am on his mailing list and get his offers … like his recent offer to follow path 2) is am I fearful of the future and like my ancestors and their ancestors before them I will grab everything I can, and too bad for those that miss out; or have I done enough of my own thinking to see that today ‘anything’ is possible, and indeed we do have more than enough for everyone to live very very well and so it is in-congruent with that belief to grab everything I can … it simply does not work. “Thank You, Please Forgive Me, I Love You …”

Now I could no more sit in that bumper to bumper traffic for one hour, twice a day (I live only 8 kms from the CBD) than I could fly. But at one time in my life I did just that, and while I didn’t enjoy it it was what I did.

Today I am living a simpler and simpler life, I see things much more clearly … Continue reading

Geek On A Mission … To End World Hunger.

What makes people like Chris Hughes and his recent declaration of wanting to end hunger different is his public profile and the wealth achieved from the incredible success of Facebook, the social networking site. The leverage this provides evidently helped President Obama in his election campaign and could surely also help achieve this feet, that as Chris Hughes says “there are already millions of people working day in and day out on the ground to deliver on promises on global change” … effectively we need a structure that helps them realise their dreams. It’s Started … And It Can’t Be Stopped.

Atom-bombing ourselves into extinction is still a possibility while we have some 8,000 active nuclear warheads existing on our tiny planet, but the shift towards a peaceful and united world is growing more rapidly by the minute.

‘Bucky’ Fuller forecast that we would enter a time when our ‘work’ was no longer regarded as a job, but rather we were doing what we saw needed to be done for the benefit of others on-board our planet. Continue reading

Facebook … A New "BarnYard", But Not One For Billionaires!

So my strategy with Facebook and I do enjoy the part of catching up with family goings on, is that I now logon, have a look round and then log off.

I am staggered how much time some people spend on Facebook … it’s now the Web’s Ultimate TIME SINK … and it’s growing by the month. Continue reading

Is Politics Relevant to Your Future on Planet Earth?

Australia has just terminated Kevin Rudd as it’s prime minister and replaced him with Julia Gillard as Australia’s first ever female prime minister, but what relevance does that event really have? Invariably the “power brokers” have their way and often one persons political career is ended.

These people of integrity cannot back down, or take a side step. It is not in their making and we have seen that today in Australia as the prime ‘ministership’ changed hands. Continue reading

Solar Is A Life Saver! More Than You Know!

Simply by capturing five days worth of radiant energy we would provide sufficient energy for the entire world population … and it is entirely conceivable that “cosmic accounting” may indeed be the natural accounting system of our solar system.

Our streets have been ‘paved’ (lit up) with ‘gold’ and we have literally ‘walked on by’ without really giving it a second thought. Continue reading
